With so many ways to enjoy your Hilton Grand Vacations Club Membership, it can be hard to remember them all. Whether you are getting ready to plan your next vacation or relaxing poolside searching for a light read, let us answer all your questions. We want you to take full advantage of your dream vacations! Here’s what our counselors are sharing in this month’s Ask An HGV Club Counselor series:
If we purchased additional points, how long will they take to show up in the system?
Club Counselor: ClubPoints associated with your additional purchase will show up within 45 days of your purchase date. Just visit the club member website for the most updated information regarding your Points’ balances.
We earned Bonus Points in January when we purchased our membership. Can I extend for next year?
Club Counselor: Bonus Points are good for two years from your purchase date. As long as you confirm your reservation before they expire, you can travel up to nine months beyond the expiration date. Bonus Points cannot be extended beyond the original expiration date. Please visit your Club Member website at club.hiltongrandvacations.com. Once you login, you will see Points across the top of the screen (or in the drop-down menu). Click on Points, and you will be taken to your Points Dashboard. There you will see your Bonus Points listed along with the issue date and expiration date.
Can you gift points or stays to Non-Members?
Club Counselor: You can purchase an additional guest certificate for all reservations except Open Season Rental reservations. Book the reservation that you want to gift, and then add on the guest certificate with the guest’s information. This can be done online or by calling a Club Counselor.
Tip: there is no fee to apply a guest certificate on a Home Week Reservation.
Can you confirm reservations at the New York City properties if you don’t own there?
Club Counselor: Absolutely! HGV Club Members are able to book into West 57th Street and The Residences properties in New York during the unique Club Reservation Window of 44 days in advance of your check-out date. Remember, at all of our properties, inventory is available on a first-come basis.
