An HGV Club Counselor answers questions from Owners.

There’s no place like home! One of the great benefits of being a Hilton Grand Vacations Owner is that you can revisit your favorite resort year after year. With caring Team Members, incredible amenities, and all the advantages HGV has to offer, it feels like home away from home. For this month’s Ask An HGV Club Counselor series, we’re taking you back to the basics about how to take full advantage of your HGV Home Week.

What is a Home Week?

Club Counselor: Your HGV Home Week is a combination of the resort, unit type, and season you own. As an owner of that property, you have Home Week priority booking, which means you can book your vacation up to 12 months in advance. During this Priority window, the only other people who will be booking the same thing are those who own the same as you.

How do I determine my HGV Home Week?

Club Counselor: Log into your Club Member website at club.hiltongrandvacations.com. Scroll down on the dashboard to find your HGV Home Week listed. It will also inform you if the booking window is open.

Can I book a different unit on my property?

Club Counselor: Yes, if you want to book a different unit type on your Home Resort, you can book it during the Club Reservation window, typically starting at 9 months prior to your desired check-out day, depending on the resort.

Do I have to stay at my Home Resort every year?

Club Counselor: Not at all! That’s the beauty of Club Membership. You are not tied to visiting your home resort. Your ClubPoints provide you with the ability to vacation at any of the Club Resorts during the applicable Club Reservation window.  This is a great way to explore all of our properties!

Can we change our home week?
